Ascent speeds up, higher I go,
My journey upward, a path unknown,
My courage grows, fears unwound,
As I touch the cloud, where peace is found.
No matter the future me,
On which section of dimension, At what point of timeline
May I have a light tea to calm my heart,
A good book to nourish my mind.
This is my final journey on Earth,
With no returning path to tread,
Letting go of all worries and concern,
Learning to adapt, instead.
Supervise me, but with gentle care,
For I belong not to this place,
And while I may falter and err,
My spirit shall rise, with grace. ( March 2023)
